Win a week’s holiday to Chamonix worth £2,000
There are several ski areas spread out along the valley and most of their slopes are above 2,000m, meaning they’re snow-sure until the end of April.
While the epic descents in off-piste arenas such as the Vallée Blanche and Grands Montets satisfy the most die-hard adrenalin junkies, the Chamonix-Mont-Blanc ski area also has a lot for beginners and intermediates, especially from family-friendly Les Houches, on the outskirts of the resort.
For those who fancy exploring the mountains on foot, wearing snowshoes, or on cross-country skis, there are 43km of wooded trails. There’s also dog sledding available, and tandem paragliding.
The brand-new three-star Rocky Pop hotel in Les Houches offers ski accommodation with a difference. The hotel’s open-plan layout is full of exciting features. In the lobby there are video arcade games and table tennis tables, while in the lounge there’s an amazing cocktail bar. The hotel’s restaurant comes complete with a burger grill and pizza van, serving food to be enjoyed at giant oak tables, with a view of the Chamonix valley.
Chamonix-Mont-Blanc is offering the chance to win a week’s holiday for two at the Rocky Pop hotel. The prize includes bed and breakfast, six-day lift passes, equipment hire, in-resort transport, lessons and airport transfers.
