The Football Data Journalist is responsible for attending fixtures throughout the Football League and recording live match information and statistics such as goals, cards and corners directly through the mobile phone.

The role is entirely casual and fixtures can be applied for depending on the Data Journalist’s availability.

No past experience is required as full training will be provided for the position via the company’s online training portal.

Data Journalists are paid up to €100 for each game covered.

Match tickets and travel expenses are covered by Sportsdata and will be reimbursed on a monthly basis.
